The Ultimate AeroPress Coffee
A refined AeroPress brewing technique that produces a clean, flavorful cup of coffee. This method uses precise timing and gentle swirling to extract the best flavors from light roasted beans.

Ingredients
- 11g coffee, ground at the finer end of medium
- 200g water, brought to a boil
Instructions

Insert the filter into the cap without rinsing or preheating the brewer.

Place the brewer on a scale and add the ground coffee.

Pour the hot water over the coffee, aiming to wet all the grounds during pouring.

Start a timer and immediately insert the piston piece into the top of the brewer about 1 cm deep.

Wait 2 minutes.

Holding the brewer and piston together, gently swirl the brewer.

Wait 30 seconds.

Press the piston down gently all the way through.

Serve and enjoy.
Cook's Notes
This technique is optimized for light roasted coffee. For darker roasts, you may prefer to increase the dose and coarsen the grind. Water should be used immediately after boiling.
